Richard Haire has served as Children’s Church leader at Benson PFWB Church since
2017 and became the Youth Director in 2025. Originally from Dunn, NC, he gave
his life to Christ in 2006 and answered the call to ministry in 2008. He is
passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission, as found in Matthew 28:19–20,
and helping the next generation grow in their walk with Christ.
Before joining Benson PFWB, Richard served as a short-term missionary for four
years, gaining hands-on experience in global ministry. He earned his bachelor’s
degree in Bible Studies with a concentration in Missions and Evangelism from
Heritage Bible College in 2018.
Richard met his wife, Rachel, in 2013, and together they enjoy raising their two
beautiful daughters, Felicity and Emerson. As a family, they love movie and game
nights, cooking and baking together, and spending time outdoors camping,
fishing, and hunting—enjoying God’s creation to the fullest
